About Scattered Thoughts

Scattered Thoughts is not the most inviting of titles. ‘Scattered’ connotes messiness, inconsistency, inefficiency, and randomness. Let the reader be warned. Yet, it is by scattering that seeds are sown. My thoughts have no authority. They’re invitations to discussion. As they’re carelessly sown here and there across the Internet and are nourished by reader comments, I hope they yield a lively crop.

  1. Craig,

Everything here makes me think you’re the Craig Vick I knew in Southern California. I’ve thought of you often. I was reading the RJS posts on when I caught the name of this Web site.

I’m having a hard time concentrating on one topic long enough to comment on it myself. I realize that means I should pay attention to a place called Scattered Thoughts.

  2. Hi Milton,

You’ve blown my cover. I am indeed the Craig Vick you knew in Southern California. It’s good to hear from you. You can email me at craig_vick at if you’d like to catch up.

  3. Hey Craig!

Don’t know if you check your website much, but I hope you see this. I lost your e-mail address to a computer crash. I would love to hear from you and write back to you.

  4. Craig-
I’m impressed you have been able to keep this going for 7 years. If I stick with it, I might just be able to finish this comment. I think I will bookmark this and browse through when it is convenient. I’m back at M$ on another contract right down in Bellevue, so I might drop by for a visit if you still have an office up the street.

  5. Hi Larry,
It’s great to hear from you. I suppose I’ve revived this blog more then kept it going. As you can see from the posts it was asleep for a few years.

I’m working at a company in Kirkland now. Perhaps we can meet somewhere for lunch. I’d love to get together with you. Thanks for stopping by my blog.

  6. Craig: It is GREAT to read your blog….You write beautifully….It’s been a long time since you repaired my parents’ TV…Blessings to you….Jack Briscoe, Jr.

  7. Hi Jack,

Thanks for dropping by. Is that TV still working? Your parents have been a very positive part of my life. Blessings to you too.
